DMCA & IP Policy

1. Overview

Games Market respects the intellectual-property rights of others. We respond to notices of alleged copyright or trademark infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the EU Copyright Directive, and equivalent regimes in other jurisdictions.

2. Trademarks & Game Artwork

Game titles, logos, character art, and screenshots displayed on Games Market remain the property of their respective publishers. Their use here is solely nominative fair use — to identify the games to which our products relate. Games Market is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the publishers whose marks appear on the Platform.

3. Filing a DMCA Notice

If you are a rights-holder (or authorised agent) and believe content on Games Market infringes your copyright, please send a notice that includes:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material — including a URL or other location on the Platform sufficient for us to find it.
4. Your contact information (name, address, email, phone).
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights-holder.

4. Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
4. Your contact information and consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts.

Send counter-notices to: dmca@games-market.com. We may forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant.

5. Repeat-Infringer Policy

We terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in accordance with the DMCA and applicable law.

6. False Claims

Submitting a false DMCA notice — or a false counter-notice — may expose you to liability under § 512(f) of the DMCA and equivalent provisions of other laws. If you are unsure whether the content infringes, consult a qualified attorney before filing.
