1. The Buyer Protection Promise
Every order placed on Games Market is automatically covered by Buyer Protection — at no extra cost. If something goes wrong with your order, we either fix it or refund you. Period.
2. How It Works
- You buy a product from any seller listed on the Platform.
- The product is delivered to your registered email or in-game ID.
- You verify the product within 48 hours of delivery.
- If anything is wrong, you open a Buyer Protection claim — we mediate, the seller responds, and we resolve the case.
- If the case is decided in your favour, you receive a replacement, partial refund, or full refund. The seller is debited from their pending balance.
3. When You're Covered
- Non-delivery: the product was not delivered within the seller's stated window (default: 24h).
- Significantly Not As Described (SNAD): the product diverges materially from the listing — wrong server, wrong region, missing items, lower currency amount, etc.
- Defective: the product fails on first use — invalid login, redeemed code, locked account, mismatched authenticator, expired gift card.
- Disputed authenticity: we review on a case-by-case basis where the buyer has reasonable cause to suspect fraud or stolen goods.
4. When You're Not Covered
- You waited more than 48 hours after delivery to verify the product, and more than 14 days to open a claim.
- You changed the credentials of an account before opening a claim — we cannot verify the seller's original delivery.
- You provided an incorrect delivery email or player ID and the seller delivered to the data you supplied.
- The publisher of the underlying game banned your account for activity on your part (e.g. cheating, third-party software, RMT abuse).
- The dispute is purely a matter of regret ("I changed my mind"), without any defect.
5. Evidence That Helps
The faster you can prove a problem, the faster we resolve it:
- Screenshots of the failed login or error message;
- Video recording of the first redemption attempt (highly persuasive for SNAD claims);
- Email headers from the seller's delivery message;
- Transaction hashes (for crypto payments) or bank statement excerpt (for transfers);
- Timestamps that match the delivery email and the failure event.
6. Resolution Times
- Acknowledgement of your claim: within 1 working day.
- Initial decision for clear-cut cases: within 2 working days.
- Mediated cases requiring seller response: up to 7 working days.

7. Seller Obligations
Sellers using the Platform agree to respond to a Buyer Protection claim within 3 working days. Failure to respond results in an automatic decision in the buyer's favour. Repeated failures may lead to suspension of the seller account and forfeiture of pending payouts.
8. Appeals
Either party may appeal a Buyer Protection decision once, within 7 days, by submitting new evidence. Appeals are reviewed by a senior agent independent of the original case. The decision after appeal is final on the Platform; nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
9. Abuse of Buyer Protection
Buyer Protection exists to protect honest buyers. We monitor for abuse — including:
- Repeated false claims that the order was not delivered;
- Use of a working account/code followed by a "not as described" claim;
- Coordinated chargeback rings.
Confirmed abuse will result in account suspension, forfeiture of any pending balance, and may be reported to law enforcement.
10. Stay Safe — Quick Tips
- Always check that the product page matches what you expect (server, region, currency).
- Take a screenshot of the listing the moment you place the order.
- Don't change account credentials or authenticator during the first 48 hours.
- Keep all delivery emails — never delete the original.
- Pay with the methods listed on the checkout page — never via off-platform requests from a seller.
